Guardiola: Gotze could make Bayern debut

The €37 million signing from Borussia Dortmund this summer is in line to face Nurnberg on Saturday while die Roten's coach is relishing a tough week ahead

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has revealed Mario Gotze could make his debut for the club againstNurnberg on Saturday after being sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Bayern have recorded Bundesliga wins in the 21-year-old's absence, overcoming Borussia Monchengladbach 3-1 and edging past Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0, a game in which Gotze was an unused substitute.
The Allianz Arena outfit paid €37million to bring Gotze to the club from Borussia Dortmund, and the attacker, who scored a double in a friendly against Hungarian champions Gyor, could finally be given the chance to demonstrate against Nurnberg why the club were desperate to secure his services.
"The most important thing is that he feels fit in his head [Gotze], his legs are fit, correct, and I think now his head is too, of course that's good for us," Guardiola told reporters.
"Maybe tomorrow he will be able to play, not sure if from the beginning or only a few minutes."
Bayern start a run of three games in a week on Saturday, travelling to Freiburg on Tuesday before taking on Premier League side Chelsea in Prague in the Uefa Super Cup on Friday.
Guardiola is undaunted by that run of fixtures and is looking forward to his first derby in charge of Bayern.
"It isn't a hard week, [it's a] good week, three games in one week. Full calendar. We accept it, no problem," he added.
"All games are important, not only the derby, of course it's important for the fans and people. In a derby anything can happen, but we have to focus on our style of play, that's most important.
"I know Nurnberg are always very aggressive, especially against Bayern. So we have to be able to also be very aggressive, especially with the ball."
Nurnberg are undefeated this season, having drawn their first two games against Hoffenheim and Hertha Berlin.
